Thank you for choosing to embark on this mentorship journey with Shannon Kaiser LLC and Andrea Owen.  This agreement is designed to create a clear, safe, and respectful container so we can work together effectively and with trust. Please take your time to review the following terms thoughtfully. They help ensure clarity and mutual understanding, so you feel supported and confident every step of the way.I look forward to partnering with you on your transformational path!

Program Overview

The Words You're Here to Write is a six-week live mentorship experience designed to support you in developing your voice, shaping your writing, and moving your work forward.

Program Dates

Week 1: April 30, 2026
Week 2: May 7, 2026
Week 3: May 14, 2026
Week 4: May 21, 2026
Week 5: May 28, 2026
Week 6: June 4, 2026

Live Session Time

4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST

Optional Coworking Sessions

Fridays following each live session
9:00 AM PST/ 12:00 Noon EST

Bonus Session

The Secrets of the Industry: Traditional vs. Self-Publishing
May 29th 9:00 AM PST/ 12:00 NOON EST

Participants are responsible for noting all program dates and planning accordingly.

Enrollment & Commitment

Enrollment reserves one of a limited number of spaces in this live mentorship experience.
Payment confirms your enrollment and secures your place in the program. Because this is a small, live container, we ask participants to enroll with the intention of participating fully in the six-week experience.

Payment & Payment Plans

Participants may choose to pay in full or through an approved payment plan.

If you select a payment plan:

• A 7% payment plan fee is applied to the total program investment to cover administrative costs, payment processing fees, and the additional flexibility provided through extended payment options.
• Payment plans are offered as a convenience
• Payment plans are not pay-as-you-go
• Your first payment secures your spot and serves as a deposit toward the full program investment
• You are responsible for completing all remaining payments regardless of attendance

By selecting a payment plan, you are committing to the full program investment.

If you experience unexpected circumstances, we encourage you to reach out. Our intention is to handle situations thoughtfully and fairly while honoring the integrity of the container.

If you choose a payment plan:

• You are committing to the full program fee
• Payment plans are offered as a convenience, not a pay-per-session structure
• Remaining payments are still due even if you are unable to attend

If unexpected circumstances arise, we encourage you to reach out. We aim to handle situations thoughtfully and fairly.

Early Bird Pricing
Early Bird pricing is available for a limited first five days, Until April 19 11:59 PM EST and expires on the date listed on the sales page. Once Early Bird pricing ends, standard pricing applies.

Early Bird bonuses and pricing are only available during the promotional period and are not available retroactively.

Refunds & Transfers

Due to the limited enrollment and live nature of this mentorship:

• Refunds are not offered once the program begins
• Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled
• If you are unable to attend, your spot may be transferred to a future session (if available)
• Transfers to another participant may be considered with approval

Our intention is to approach these situations with fairness and respect for everyone involved.

Live Sessions & Participation

This is a live mentorship experience. Participants understand:

• Live attendance is encouraged but not required
• Recordings may be provided for participant use only
• Participants are responsible for tracking live session dates
• Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled individually

Group Mentorship Boundaries

The Words You're Here to Write is a group mentorship experience designed to support all participants within a shared container.

While Shannon Kaiser and Andrea Owen will provide guidance and support during live sessions, this program does not include individualized, hands-on feedback for each participant.

Participants seeking personalized mentoring or detailed feedback may purchase a private 60-minute session with either Shannon Kaiser or Andrea Owen, available as an optional add-on at checkout for $550.

Technology, Security & AI Disclosure

This program is delivered online using third-party platforms and technology tools (such as Zoom, email platforms, payment processors, and other digital services). While we take reasonable steps to protect participant information and ensure smooth delivery, we cannot guarantee that technology platforms will always function without interruption or security risk.

By enrolling, participants acknowledge that technical issues, outages, or security breaches involving third-party platforms may occur and agree that Shannon Kaiser and Andrea Owen are not responsible for disruptions, data breaches, or unauthorized access that occur outside of our reasonable control.

Shannon Kaiser and Andrea Owen may also utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support research, planning, organization, and administrative efficiency. All teaching, mentorship, and program delivery remain human-led and conducted in real time.

Participant information will never be shared with AI tools in a way that compromises confidentiality, and reasonable care will be taken to protect privacy and data.

Program Materials & Intellectual Property

All materials, recordings, and resources provided during the program are for personal use only.

By enrolling, you agree:

• Not to share recordings or materials publicly
• Not to reproduce or distribute content
• Not to teach or reuse program materials without permission

All materials remain the intellectual property of Shannon Kaiser and Andrea Owen.

Community & Confidentiality

This mentorship may include personal sharing and creative development.
To support a safe environment, participants agree to:

• Respect confidentiality
• Not share personal stories or work from other participants without explicit permission
• Engage respectfully in discussions and community spaces

If behavior becomes disruptive or harmful to the group experience, facilitators reserve the right to remove a participant from the program.

Outcomes & Expectations

This mentorship is designed to support your writing and creative process. However:

• No publishing outcomes are guaranteed
• Results depend on participant engagement
• This program is educational and mentorship-based, not therapy or professional advice

Communication

Participants are responsible for:

• Providing accurate contact information
• Checking email for updates
• Reaching out if communications are not received

Recording & Participation

Sessions may be recorded for participant access.
Recordings are for personal use only and may not be shared, distributed, or used commercially.

How We Protect the Information

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such data, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the Information that you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Websites may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.

Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, government restrictions, widespread internet outages, national emergencies, or other unforeseen events — Shannon Kaiser and Andrea Owen reserve the right to reschedule or adjust the program as needed.

Neither party shall be held liable for delays or changes resulting from these circumstances. If such an event occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule sessions and continue the program in a timely manner.

Refunds will not be issued due to force majeure events. If rescheduling is not feasible, a program credit may be offered at our discretion.

Retention of Personal Information

We will retain your personal information in a form that identifies you only for as long as it serves the purpose(s) for which it was initially collected as stated in this Privacy Policy, subsequently authorized, or as allowed under applicable law.

Important Notice to Non-U.S. Residents

It is important to note that the Websites and their servers are operated in the United States.  If you are located outside of the U.S., please be aware that any information provided to or collected by us, including personal information, will be transferred from your country of origin to the U.S. Except in the case of data transfers under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), your decision to provide such data to us, or allow us to collect such data through our Websites, constitutes your consent to this data transfer.
